Open Training Sessions

Tuesday and Thursdays, 19:00–21:45

These open sessions are for anyone who already knows how to fence. Footwork is at 19:20 at both sessions, followed by free fencing on the box. We have fencers in all three weapons: foil, épée and sabre.

You can also use this time to take a private lesson from one of our coaches.

If you take one of our classes and would like to come along to the open training sessions, just ask you’re coach if you’re ready.

Too young for our classes?

If you're keen to start fencing but you're not 10 yet, we can sometimes stretch to kids aged 8 or 9, depending on the class. Send us an email and we can let you know if we can fit you in.

Otherwise, we have close links with Fencing is Fun, who run plastic fencing classes for kids from primary 1 to primary 7. In fact, a number of our fencers are also FiF coaches. Check out the Fencing is Fun website here to find a class near you!
